Quality Birkdale Nursing Home
At Barton Park, our Southport nursing home has Registered General Nurses (RGN) to provide all of our residents with continuous, round the clock care. The medical care we provide focuses on the individual needs of every resident and is delivered sensitively and professionally by the members of our qualified nursing team. If required, our nurses can take care of some medical tasks such as catheter administration and taking blood samples. This means there is often no need for residents to travel to the local surgery. For those residents who cannot take responsibility for their own medication, our team also assist them with the ordering and administration of their medication. We are able to keep track of weight, pulse and blood pressure by checking at regular intervals, or whenever necessary, as well as monitoring fluid intake and ensuring that all of our residents receive a balanced diet.
